Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K

Does anyone remember Bill and Ted's Excellent adventure?  I think I'm dating myself...

I haven't written anything in a while, so I thought this morning I would just post some of the funny things Wes & I have seen in the past month while being here.  So, to keep things in perspective here is our new home, complete with fake green grass and a little gravel our neighbor Brian gave us for helping with his TV.  (He has a gravel business, so I fondly refer to him as Gravel Brian.)  Brian comes from Salem Oregon, and traded a home for his Coach (Which has a washer/dryer unit.  Can you say jealous?).

You have to be here to see some of the campers/rigs setup in camp.  We thought we needed to purge and scale down to make sure we had plenty of room.  This gentleman must not have been able to part with his boat.  You have to keep your priorities right!

This gentleman comes into camp with everything that he needs.  Air Conditioner is Monkey Taped in... And by the insulation between the bed and the camper, we are thinking he was here for the winter also.  All I can say is Thank You Mom and Dad for helping with our camper!  I don't think my selvage collection would fit in here.

We took a road trip last weekend to Bismarck, just to see what we could see.  We stopped in a town called Garrison.  Anyone that is from MN knows there is a Garrison is the Walleye Capital of the World right?

We loved Garrison, ND.  Mr. Picky found a lovely little Malt Shop (Ye Olde Malt Shoppe), where he had a great strawberry malt.  We found out how the Garrison Residents get their hot and cold water.

We also found out where Wally the Walleye is at.  It makes you wonder if there are other Garrison's in the US that have Wally also!

And one final note.  If you are in Bismarck at their local campground, and you find you need to throw something away, you might need to grab your folding ladder first.
